1.1 In this Policy, the term “personal information” means information about an identifiable individual, and excludes business contact information. The term “you” means any person who may use our app, or other services we provide from time to time.
1.2 Our app enables you to record, track and visualize certain data and view metrics regarding your personal biometric data including blood pressure data and data about your personal habits (we call this “Biometric Data”).
2.1 If you supply any personal information to us in the course of using our app or services, you:
(a) consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information by us for the purposes stated at the time of collection;
(b) consent to receiving email and other commercial electronic messages from us for the purposes of providing services to you and administering your account;
in accordance with: (i) this Policy, (ii) any other agreement you may have entered into with us, and (iii) applicable laws and regulations.
2.2 You must ensure that we are kept informed of the correct and current personal information that you supply to us.
3.1 We do not automatically collect personal information from you throgh the app, but you may choose to supply personal contact information to us such as name and email address, for the purpose of receiving additional information from time to time, such as newsletters or other marketing materials, or for other purposes stated at the time of collection.
3.2 We do not automatically collect or track Biometric Data from you through the app, and any such information that you choose to put into the app will reside on your device, and you can decide how to use it, save it, share it, export it, back it up, or delete it.
4.1 We use your personal information only for the purposes stated at the time of collection.
4.2 We may ask to send, and you may consent to receive, additional information from time to time, such as newsletters or other marketing materials.
4.3 We do not sell or otherwise distribute personal information to external third parties, except in accordance with: (i) this Policy, (ii) any other agreement you may have entered into with us, and (iii) applicable laws and regulations.
5.0 INFORMATION HANDLING & SECURITY
5.1 We employ reasonable technical and procedural safeguards to ensure the protection of your personal information. These measures are designed to protect personal information from loss, disclosure, and unauthorized access.
5.2 We may transfer information to external entities in the event of a merger, acquisition, consolidation or strategic partnership in which we participates or to a purchaser of (substantially) all of our assets, but any such transfer will be subject to (i) this Policy, (ii) any other agreement you may have entered into with us, and (iii) applicable laws and regulations.
5.3 From to time we may use service providers or servers located outside of Canada for the operation of our app or services, or the app may utilize, in whole or in part, third-party hosts, public internet and third party networks to transmit communications, and those transmissions may be intercepted by other parties or stored, cached, routed, transmitted or received in jurisdictions outside of Canada, and may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.
