No, One Heart Five Habits does not measure your blood pressure. The app encourages you to track your blood pressure, weight, and lifestyle habits. A separate blood pressure monitor is required to measure your blood pressure. These devices can be purchased at pharmacies.

How do I measure my blood pressure?

Blood pressure is measured at home using a blood pressure monitor, which you can purchase at a pharmacy. There are several models available that make measuring your blood pressure at home easy and convenient. It is very important to measure you blood pressure accurately as most errors will result in false high readings. Please refer to the guide at the top right of the BP Record page for more detailed information and tips for accurately recording your blood pressure.

How often should I record my blood pressure, weight, and lifestyle habits?

Take your blood pressure in the morning and in the evening every day for seven days. Repeat every three months as long as you have stable, well-treated blood pressure, or as directed by your health-care provider. We encourage you to track your lifestyle habits on a daily basis and your weight at least once per week. Please speak with your health care provider for guidance.

How do I view the weight and lifestyle habit categories?

From the BP Record screen, swipe left to navigate through the weight and lifestyle habit categories.

How do I add, view, and edit previous recordings?

To add, view, and edit previous recordings, use the date bar found near the top of the screen. Tap to select a specific day, and edit by tapping the + and – buttons.

What is the guide?

Up at the top right corner of all of the Record category screens you will find a guide. Tap the guide to view tips, instructions, and information to better help you track and learn.
